Death Stranding es el titulo con más nominaciones en esta oportunidad, aunque su nombre no postula para convertirse en el mejor titulo del año.

Ya se conocieron los nominados a los BAFTA Game Awards 2020 y entre los seleccionados de este año destacan Death Stranding y Control con 11 nominaciones, Disco Elysium con 7, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Life is Strange 2 y Outer Wilds con 5 menciones cada uno, y Knights and Bikes, Untitled Goose Game y Luigi’s Mansion 3 con 4 nominaciones.

En esta oportunidad se agregaron más nominaciones a los premios, como Mejor animación y Mejor logro técnico, mientras que el premio para los actores de voz han sido divididos entre Mejor actor o actriz principal y Mejor actor o  actriz de reparto.

Uno de los títulos favoritos de este año es Control, el cual cuenta con nominaciones en Mejor juego, Mejor Actor o Actriz Principal, Mejor Diseño, Mejor Animación, Mejor Narratuiva y Mejor Banda Sonora.

Por su parte Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, titulo elegido como el Mejor Videojuego del Año en los The Game Awards, cuenta con 4 nominaciones, siendo Mejor Juego una de ellas.
